Proper packaging is important to make sure that your product arrives at your customer intact and without any damage. You should do the following:
- Packaging come in various forms: cardboard, bubble wrap, foam chips, wooden crates and skids.
- The packaging should be made to protect your product against normal handling while it is in-transit to your customer.
- There should be extra packaging on the corners of your product.
- Fragile items need extra packaging as necessary to make sure they do not get damaged during normal handling.
If you are not sure your packaging meets required packaging standards please contact our office to have one of our logistics personnel inspect and if necessary make recommendations on what needs to be done.
